Dear Families,
This week in STEM we spent time discussing how to create and maintain a POSITIVE Digital Footprint. STEM Team members learned that just like animal footprints show that an animal has been to a particular place, we leave Digital Footprints that show all the amazing places we have visited online.
All STEM Team members signed a large paper footprint in our classroom as a friendly reminder to always leave a positive digital footprint. The boys and girls also created their own personal paper footprint to hang in their locker or classroom.
Looking Ahead- STEM Team members will record a video, make a screencast or create a book explaining how and why it is important to leave a positive digital footprint and be a good digital citizen. This culminating project will be posted on Edmodo and STEM Team members will watch each others’ work and practice making meaningful comments to one another.
Below are two great video clips explaining a few of the concepts discussed in class.
